Most precision filters (also known as cartridge filter) adopt stainless steel to make the housing and are equipped with filter element inside (such as PP cotton). Such filter is mainly used after multi-medium pretreatment and filtration but before using reverse osmosis, ultrafiltrfation and other membrane filtration equipment. Besides, it also can be used to filter fine matters (such as tiny quartz sand, activated carbon particles, etc. ) that have been filtrated by multi-medium filter and as such the filtration precision of water quality and filtration elements of protection membrane can’t be damaged by large particle substance. The precision of filter element installed inside the precision filter can be divided into 0.5μm, 1μm, 5μm, 10μm, etc., which allow operators to select filter of different filtration precision according to the situation, thus guaranteeing the precision of effluent water and the security of secondary membrane elements. Made with PP cotton, nylon, melt-blown material and other material, the filter element can remove tiny suspended matter, bacteria and other impurities so as to enable the raw water quality meet the requirement on water inlet of reverse osmose membrane.
